The short version

- Google Search Console, Slack
- How often
- Mondays at 10am, once you switch it on.

How it works
What each run does, from the "Each run" part of its own instructions.
- Step 1:
Fix the windows the last full seven days against the seven before. Search Console data runs two to three days behind, so end the window three days ago, and use the same offset every week.
- Step 2:
Query search analytics for the site chosen at install, by page and by query, for both windows.
- Step 3:
Find what moved
The five pages with the largest change in clicks, up and down. Queries where the average position changed by three places or more, with at least 50 impressions. Pages with many impressions and a low click-through rate. These are titles and descriptions worth...
- Step 4:
Check the causes you can check
For a page that dropped to zero, inspect the URL and say whether Google reports it as indexed. Check whether the sitemap was read recently.
- Step 5:
Post one message to the channel chosen at install. Open with total clicks and the change. Then the movers, each with the change and its likely cause, or "cause unknown". End with at most three suggested actions.
What you get
How the agent's own instructions describe what it hands back. Install it to see a real result.

Integrations & requirements
Weekly SEO report needs Google Search Console and Slack to work. You sign in to each one yourself.
Google Search Console
RequiredQuery search traffic, inspect how Google indexed a URL, and manage sitemaps.
Authentication: Sign in with Google
Slack
RequiredSearch conversations and send messages to your workspace.
Authentication: Bot token
Skills it follows
| Tool | Actions it offers |
|---|---|
| Google Search Console | 8 in all: 6 read, 0 write, 2 destructive. |
| Slack | 11 in all: 7 read, 4 write, 0 destructive. Nothing that deletes or permanently changes anything. |
A project can switch any action off, and every call is logged. The counts are what each tool offers; which of them the agent uses is up to its instructions.
What it will never do
- Submit or delete a sitemap, or request indexing.
- Explain a change you cannot see in the data.
If something goes wrong
If the data for the last few days is not there yet, move both windows back a day and say so. If the site cannot be read, post that and stop.
These are written into Weekly SEO report's instructions. They guide the agent, but they are not a permission. What it is allowed to touch is set by the access you grant.
When it runs
Weekly SEO report runs mondays at 10am by default. Its routine arrives switched off. Turn it on when you are ready: every run costs your workspace money.
